I received an email today asking for my I800A approval because the Philipinnes is ready to make the official match with Evan. Yahoo! This is fantastic news!!!! The sad news is that we don't have our I800A approval yet. Unfortunately the match can not officially be made, due to Hague requirements, until I800A approval. I called the NBC, Hague unit. They received my paperwork on 7/17. They are currently processing the first week of June's applications. However, they are also entering information in the system for acknowledgement letters and fingerprint appointments at the INS. For this part they are up to 7/2. She estimated I will have my acknowledgement of receipt letter and fingerprint appt card soon. I am praying that once we get fingerprints done they will be into July for processing applications. Once the I800A is approved then the adoption agency can make the official match with Evan. Estimated time for travel to go get him, once referral has been made, is approximately four months
Oh this is a joyous day! Praise God! I have been praying so much for this news! Evan turns two in five days - 8/10! We sent him birthday presents last month in time for his birthday. It is a blessing to know this will be his last birthday without his family... and us with him!
Please pray for quick paperwork and even quicker travel time! Please also continue to pray for Evan and the people that take care of him.
